📖 Sermon Notes: The Rock of Our Salvation
Key Scripture
"He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved." — Psalm 62:6
Core Message & Reflections
- God as Our Rock and Savior: Dr. MW Mkhonta emphasizes that God alone is our unwavering rock and ultimate salvation.
- Unshakable Defense: Regardless of what we face or what comes our way, God serves as our defense, ensuring we will not be moved.
- Our Barricade and Protection: The Lord encloses us and acts as our protector, preserving our souls and our lives. The rod is for protecting you from any threat whereas the staff is for rescuing you when you have fallen into a pit.
- Found on the Solid Rock: Believers can remain unshaken ("not be shaken") because they are founded upon the solid rock of ages, Christ Himself.
